In this picture I cropped it , added text , used liquify for the background, and a diffuse glow to finish it off.

Magazine cover lines introduction
Early magazine covers :
In the early times magazine covers did not have covers but opened to where they were title pages and table of contents. When magazines did use covers though they modeled them after books only giving the title and the publication data. They never described what would be found in the magazine. This all existed from 1700s to the 1800s.
The poster covers:
From the 1890s to the 1960s poster covers were the big magazine covers. It set major standards for magazine covers because it made so many memorable magazine covers. They were very big and colorful. Super detailed because the illustrators using their artistic nature would make them look so well done. Eventually this became the way for all magazine covers.
Pictures married to type:
The 20th century was the time that most of the magazines were drawn out by artist. Very detailed work and was also very colorful. They didn't take many pictures. Cover lines were also common. The 20th century magazines were a work of art.
In the Forest of Words:
The magazines were big and had alot of detail. The pictures were taken by a photographer and not drawn by any artist of some sort. There are words describing what is going on inside the magazine and what is going on with the person or what ever picture is on the cover of the magazine. Everything is being described in big detail making a big difference between the rest of the past types of magazines.

Happy Akins Building
Happy
In this photo this shows happiness and balance in the picture. It shows a great amount of details and is a really great picture. More of a self portrait is what it kinda came out as but is a very wonderful picture that goes very well with the prompt.
Akins
This a very good photo for the prompt Akins because clearly it shows in the photo with the big lettering and it also shows the eagle which is Akins mascot. Its a very detailed picture and gives off great quality. I really like this picture and it maybe one of my favorite photos that I have taken so far.
Building
This photo to me is one of my best photos. It really shows the prompt very well and it gives so much great details. The building its self is amazing. You can actually tell kind of a story with the picture and it is just a great photo that was taken. Lots of thought and creativity put in the photo.

Choices
Next year I would like to join the Yearbook class. I feel that this class is for me because I really like photojournalism and I feel i should take it to the next level with graphic design. Also it's a big skill that I can use in life if I ever wanted to take it to college or as a career in the future. This class looks like a great class to take and can be a great experience for me.

2011 favorite photos
As you can see here the soldier is high fiving the little kid. I really like this photo because it shows how much of a positive impact that the army can bring to small children like so in the picture. It shows the good that is going on and it is a really powerful picture making it one of my favorite from 2011.

This is one of my favorite photos because it looks like she is going crazy. It looks likes shes fighting with her husband or something and they are like having a war cause shes that crazy. Shes got the gun out, the look on her face is priceless, and she brought back up. This photo is hilarious.
This photo is very interesting. I really like it because of all the action that is going on. Its dark and scary and brings alot of dramatic features to the picture. The detail is really good making it one of my favorite pictures.
Song:
All of the lights by Kanye West

I believe that this song was the best of year because it was a really good song and it was on the charts for a very long time. It had a really good music video to it. It was all over the radio. It was one of my favorite songs in 2011 and it was just a really amazing song. So good that the music video gave people seizures.
Movie:
Rise of planet of the apes
This was a really powerful , action packed movie that came out around the summer time. It was a really good movie that I could watch over and over again. The movie was about working together as a team and in 2011 thats what people were doing the most was working as a team. It was a great movie. 4 stars worth.
The royal wedding was probably one of the biggest events for 2011. People blew up the royal wedding as if it was the biggest thing that ever happened in life. There was lots of publicity and there were a ton of people constantly talking about it. On top of that the wedding was over for about a week or longer and people were still talking about it. This wedding was a big story and a major event.
Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of facebook is one of the biggest or the biggest person of 2011. Ever since facebook has completely blown up in 2011 he has been getting alot of recongintion and lots of money. Although facebook has done alot of good with people and their friends it has started to change and people are becoming frustrated with him about that. People have also blamed him for relationship problems and believe that he has brought bad upon everyone. Even though people who have made poor choices because of what they do on facebook tend to blame him, he is getting so much publicity and that is all that everyone talks about. Everyone is always on facebook and he is constantly getting money because of that.
The penn state scandal was the most talked about sport and gossip scandal in 2011. It was the biggest topic for discussions. It also was talked about the most out of anything in 2011. Everyone loves sports and for this to come out had people really thinking. This had been going for quite some time and it was really getting to people. Penn state also went down a bit because of this scandal which is really not a good thing at all.
1. One thing that happened to me during the holidays that I will always remember is when me and my family compeletly slept all day everyday for the whole break. We all had so much to do in so little time and so we were all extremely exhausted and were so happy for the break. All we did was sleep and I will always remember that because there has never been a day where all of us are asleep in our rooms for over 17 hours.
2. My resolutions for 2012 are to graduate early from high school, make it into St. Edwards university, and keep my GPA over 3.4.
3. Im looking forward to school. School is what is focused on my mind right now and for me to get in to college to reach my goals and dreams I need to really focus on my grades.
