Caption and evaluation practice

Headline : Rebellious civilians going crazy over protest

Caption: Civilians in India riot after a weeks worth of protest gets out of hand. 13 people die and 27 people are wounded and badly injured after soldiers try to calm the riot.

The second posted has the one of the rules which is cropping. The person's face isn't completely there and you can tell that if the photo would had been wider that the person's face would had been completely in the picture. Also its zoomed in since its cropped. You can see the blurriness and tell that there are other things in the back ground that was cropped out.

The third picture shows framing and depth. The picture is taking to the point where all of it looks important and to the point where it shows like something is really far out. In the back where the mountains are you can see more mountains and it looks like it goes on forever.

The first photo shows symmetry and patterns. The candles are every where in the sky and everything looks like it has a lot of patterns going on. Its an interesting photo with a lot of details and there are a lot going on in the picture.

Touching Strangers

1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
I think some of these people don't have much emotion. These pictures are good just wish there was more emotion especially if people are touching other people.

2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?
I would first ask how much am I getting paid for this. I would also ask what is the point of it. If they didn't have a legitimate reason then I wouldn't do it.

3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
I think a jumping photo shoot would be unusual

4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take?
I liked the photography. I thought it was very good. I think he used some rules of photography but not a whole bunch of them. He took very clear well done photos. He used background. He also used depth also. Some photos were close up and some weren't
